Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so it’s no surprise that all of this month’s projects for the Silhouette Blog are Halloween related.
I had a million different ideas for the sugar skull design, but I couldn’t stop thinking about turning it into a mask. This was definitely the way to go! We had so much fun painting them together. The sugar skull design is free this week so be sure to download it. I even have a full tutorial for making the sugar skull masks. You could prep them now and have them ready for a fun activity to do on Halloween.
You’ll need a bag for collecting all those trick-or-treat goodies. It might as well be cute! The haunting design was a free design a couple of weeks ago. You can find it here, although it is no longer free. I used stencil vinyl and fabric ink for this easy peasy treat bag you can find here.I got a chance to use the gold fabric ink and let me tell you…it’s incredible! Pictures don’t do it justice. It has such a gorgeous golden shine that I never expected from a fabric ink. I used it on a plain black t-shirt along with purple glitter heat transfer material. Isn’t the combo stunning on this girls Halloween tee?
