I just love getting to try out new products from Purex. I’ve been buying their laundry products since I got married and had a home of my own. It’s fun being able to see all the exciting new things they come up with to make doing laundry less of a chore. Purex Crystals have become a staple in my laundry room since I first had the opportunity to test them out. I like my laundry to smell fresh for as long as possible so they are just the boost I need.
This time I got a chance to try the new Purex Crystals ScentSplash in-wash fragrance booster. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how I felt about this at first since I love the convenience of the solid crystals. The new Purex Crystals ScentSplash works like the solid crystals, but is a concentrated liquid instead. It comes in a smaller container but can be used to boost the scent in 35% more loads than an 18oz bottle of Purex Solid Crystals.
The bottle recommends you use at least half a cap full for each load. It comes with a cap and spout similar to that of a container of liquid laundry detergent. Because of the design it doesn’t really get messy or drip when you’re done.
I first tried a cap full of this in a load of bedding. Because honestly, what’s better than crawling into a bed smelling like a fresh load of laundry? Not much if you ask me! As I took the bedding out of the dryer and went to go make the bed all I could think about was how ready I was for a nap. It smelled incredible!
