I love trying new subscription boxes. When a friend gave me an invite to try Graze I was thrilled. Even better, I got to try the first box for free. Score!
It was a simple process to sign up for my Graze box. You get to choose between two box types. The nibble box (which is what I chose) allows you to choose from over 90 available foods. The calorie counter box gives you over 50 lower calorie foods (ranging from 50-100 calories each) to choose from. What I most appreciate from the Graze box service is that I can easily postpone my upcoming boxes. One easy click of the mouse is all it takes to push back the delivery of my box by a week or more. That kind of flexibility can be hard to find from subscription boxes.
Two weeks after I signed up my first box arrived. It arrived in my mailbox just like this. I love how simple it is.
The first thing I noticed when I opened my Graze box was this gorgeous picture of cherries. What a simple way to bring even more joy to opening the box. Inside is a small pamphlet with info, including the nutrition facts. Each snack is packaged in its own little compartment. Somehow this makes it extra special. It is much more exciting to get a pretty box with nicely packaged snacks, instead of little baggies of snacks thrown in a box. It felt like such a treat!
When I snack I want something bold and crunchy. Graze hit the nail on the head with this box. Let me show you what I found inside my Graze box.
Sour Cream & Onion Cashews
These cashews were unusual, but in the best possible way. I tend to like sour cream and onion flavored snacks as long as they aren’t too heavy on the onion. The sour cream and onion flavor was spot on. The sweet nuttiness of the cashews balanced perfectly with the savory sour cream and onion seasoning. This was my favorite snack of the box.
Texan Corn Salsa
I was expecting something with a little kick, but this mix ended up being on the bland side. It was really crunchy though which I loved. The roasted corn pieces were like delicious corn nuts without all the junk. I was surprised at how good the salsa almonds were. They had an unusual sweet salsa taste to them. With more seasoning this could have been my favorite snack. The crunch was there, but unfortunately it lacked in flavor.
The black pepper dippers were delicious all by themselves. Seasoned with plenty of black pepper they had a kick. The mango chutney complimented the black pepper dippers nicely by balancing out the spicy with the sweet. This is a snack I normally wouldn’t have picked for myself, but I ended up finding something new I like.
Super Fiery Seeds
What I was expecting in the Texan corn salsa, I finally found in the super fiery seeds. The mix of pumpkin and sunflower seeds was crunchy and spicy. Seasoned with chili and paprika, the seeds were spicy but not uncomfortably so. My two year old ate them without any problems and kept asking for more.
I had such a fun time trying all of these delicious snacks. I can’t wait to see what the next beautiful Graze box brings!
