I was in desperate need of a calendar to stay organized. Something gigantic so I’m forced to focus instead of procrastinate. What I came up with was something fun, functional, and thrifty. It doesn’t get any better than that!

I needed something light for my walls so I cut one of those big foam boards in half. Then I used a pencil to lightly mark the lines for the calendar.

Starting with the horizontal lines, I went over the pencil marks with washi tape. Once I got my horizontal lines down I did the vertical lines.

Using my Silhouette I labeled the days of the week in vinyl.

Since I wanted to be able to easily change the calendar out monthly, I covered it in clear contact paper. Now it will function line a dry erase board! On top of the contact paper I used more adhesive vinyl to label the month.

The calendar hangs nicely over my desk and is easy to remove when I need it. What do you think? Isn’t this a fun way to use washi tape?
