Becoming A Mom

I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for First Response. I received product samples as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

A couple of months ago I mentioned our storage closet. While I did a pretty good job of getting rid of some things I’m working on clearing it out even more. I’ve been trying my hardest to be less sentimental about “stuff”. It’s getting better, but there is one thing (okay…more like a few storage totes worth) that turns into a huge roadblock every single time…Steven’s baby clothes.

They’re so tiny and cute…I just can’t.

All the sleepers with those little animal feet…forget it. I’m too weak to say goodbye.

Somehow holding that clothing brings back memories even a picture can’t. He’s still little, but he’s not that little nor will he ever be again. It’s a lot for a sentimental momma to handle. Let’s be real, he’s kind of the best thing that’s ever happened to me. This little boy drives me nuts but I wouldn’t know what to do without him. That’s the thing about being a momma, from the second that test reads “pregnant” you need them as much as they need you.

When the hubby and I got married we knew we wanted to be parents right away. I’m not a patient person so you can bet I went straight for the First Response pregnancy tests. Want to find out six days sooner? Why yes, yes I did! Seeing those two little lines show up so soon was everything!

They’re called First Response for good reason. Their tests can detect a pregnancy up to six days before a missed period and the results will be displayed in less than three minutes. Once you reach the day of the expected period their tests are 99% accurate. Why bother trusting anything else?

First Response has always been ahead of the game, so I was interested in checking out the new design of their Early Detection Pregnancy Test. Ladies, they’ve officially thought of everything. The new design includes a longer curved handle and a 50% wider tip to make the not so glamorous task of peeing on a stick a little bit easier.

Right now we’re enjoying life as a family of three, but when the time comes to add to our family you know I’ll be heading straight for my First Response pregnancy test. Life with a three year old already holds all the uncertainty I can handle!

You can find First Response Early Detection Pregnancy Tests at all major drugstores, mass and grocery stores for $8.99 – $15.99. Visit the First Response website to learn more about their products and find helpful tools and information.
