A Peek At Spellbinders Celebra’tions…Plus A Giveaway!

Purex has sent me some fun products to try before, but this time they sent me something a little different. While I love being mom and overall keeper of the chaos, crafting is my little escape. It gives me that alone time I need to sort through my thoughts and get everything else figured out. Does anyone else feel that way? Anyway, they sent me two little kits with a variety of supplies from the new Spellbinders Celebra’tions Collection. This is actually the first time I’ve been introduced to Spellbinders products. The kits are an awesome introduction since I get to see a variety of the gorgeous cardstock, inks, die templates, stamps, and embelishments they have to offer.

The first kit I tried is the “Best Day Ever Treat Bag” which came like this:

With just some scissors and a little bit of glue it took me no time to turn it into this:

I’m loving the chevron designs thrown in there. The texture of the green tag was incredible.

Next I tried the “Celebrate Party Hat Card” which came like this:

Once again, it took me no time at all to put together. A little bit of folding…a little bit of glue…and voila…

How stinkin cute is that? I actually folded the paper on the party hat the wrong way. Opps! Oh well. I like it better this way. It was reminding me of a waffle cone on the other side. How sweet would this card be for pretty much any celebratory occasion?

Thanks to Purex and Spellbinders for giving me a chance to try something new! I had a great time putting these together. I have some swell news for you too. They also sent me this “many words” set of clear polymer stamps to share with one lucky reader! This set of 15 clear polymer stamps includes words that are perfect for special occasions or everyday celebrations. Please be sure to follow the rules in order for each entry to count. Good luck!

I grew up pretty poor, so handmade gifts were a necessity. As a kid, though, I just thought homemade was more special. As an adult, I still make gifts when I can because I think they’re fun, unique, and meaningful.
